A teenage prison officer has been sentenced to jail after engaging in a sexual relationship with an inmate. Footage showing Alicia Novas in her prison uniform during the encounter was later shared on Snapchat by the prisoner involved, Declan Winkless.
Winkless, 31, received a sentence of three years and four months, to be served consecutively with his existing term. Novas, who was 18 at the time of the incident, was handed a three-year prison sentence.
